The way this blog works is simple. I find a fan game that I was interested in (or one which someone referred me to) and I play it. I take pictures (or, in some cases, I may record video footage), upload it to the internet, and write a review about it with the aforementioned images and/or video.
Fan games will be rated on a store of 1 to 10 for each of the following: story, gameplay, graphics, audio, and replay value. An overall score will also be given (though it won't necessarily be an average of the above categories). For fun, you may also see scores for things like the "probability of fascist copyright takedown" and "unintentional humor" for those games that manage to be entertaining despite being terrible.
Guest posting is more than welcome. You can send guest posts by e-mailing me (click my user name under "About Me" and you should be sent to a page that links to my e-mail). However, I have standards for what goes on this blog:
- If you can't spell, can't capitalize proper noun and the first word of every sentence, can't use punctuation, and can't use English grammar in general, don't bother--ESPECIALLY if English is supposedly your first language. I will mock your review and your intelligence.
- If you can't write more than two paragraphs, don't bother. Reviews need to provide some information about the game, and you can't simply give people a good idea of the game with only a handful of sentences.
- If you insist on swearing like a sailor, don't send me your reviews. This site is and will remain family-friendly, and any profanity or otherwise crude language will be excised.
- If you're one of those people that complains about games while having never played them, don't send me your reviews. I have zero tolerance for members of Hate Dumb.
More things may be added to this list, but as long as your stuff is civil, humorous, and pleasant to read, it'll be considered.
